Metamorphosis!

Makes me think that ...

The bee that works all night and day,
Does not realise that one day she may,
Change, transform, metamorphosize.

She doubts the possible,
It seems so improbable,
That the hidden sun will arise.

After some time,
The nectar is so prime,
Sweet honey is the prize.

And the bee that was,
Is the bee that is,
Queen with peace in her eyes.

Change in learners is seen at all levels in the education process and it can certainly bring a metamorphosis. For those whose work involves supervising research the joy of watching it take place can be magical.
